DEPIT WOOD, a division of DePiT e.K. focuses mainly on dealing with European hardwood and softwood logs for export internationally. Even though DePiT e.K. was founded in the year 2015 our history dates back to 1980 when our grandfather incorporated a sawmill in India where we gained the first valuable insights and experiences.

Trade connections between countries and continents

We work with many reliable wood suppliers in Europe and leading companies who deal with logistics. We are supplying round wood logs directly from the forests depending on our customer’s requirement. Our logs are mainly supplied from Belgium, France, Germany and Netherlands. We are specialized in export to customers in India, Egypt, China, Vietnam and many other countries. We strongly believe that our customers are satisfied not only because of our quality but also on time delivery and competitive prices in the market.

We like to go the extra mile

In addition to logs business, we also trade used machinery like wood working, offset printing and spares if our customers request us on any specific “Made in Germany” products.

The founder // Mr. Dinesh Babu Paulrajan

The founder

The Owner of DEPIT WOOD (Dinesh Babu Paulrajan) landed in Germany on 2009 for his Master studies. He gained his first business experience on sales and finance with Japanese automotive car makers and financial services. In parallel to his work, he has been actively involved in purchasing logs for his family-owned company located in India.

The company

With all the experience for about five years, a new company was incorporated by him in the year 2015. The company was named as DePiT e.K. Since then, the company has seen growth steadily each year and continue to grow together with the reliable partners and customers worldwide. Over the years Dinesh has become an expert in grading excellent quality logs for his customers. Therefore, the company’s motto has become “You Order. We Grade”.
